ANNOUNCES NEWLY ELECTED HRTS ASSOCIATES (HRTSA) BOARD

Kyle DeLash and Limor Hakim Named Co-Presidents of HRTS Associates Los Angeles;
Frederic Richter and Simon TaufiQue to Serve as Co-Presidents of HRTS Associates New York
LOS ANGELES, CA, (October 29, 2020) – Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS) is pleased to announce the newly elected members of the Board for HRTS Associates (HRTSA), the premier membership for mid-level entertainment professionals representing all sectors of the media and content industry, in Los Angeles and New York. The news was announced today by HRTS Board of Directors President Marc Korman, Partner and Agent, WME Entertainment, and HRTS CEO Melissa Grego.
Kyle DeLash, Director of Distribution, Moonbug Entertainment who was elected for a second term is joined by Limor Hakim, Director of Development and Production, Level 1 Entertainment, as Co-Presidents of HRTS Associates in Los Angeles. Frederic Richter, writer and founder of Richter Scale Media, and Simon Taufique, Producer, Orchestrated Pictures, have been elected to serve as co-presidents of HRTS Associates in New York.
“The HRTS Associates is not only an incredibly valuable resource to individual members, it has grown into a vibrant community that represents the emerging leaders, voices, and advocates within our industry,” said Marc Korman. “I’m thrilled to welcome the newly elected and returning Board Directors in Los Angeles and New York.”
Added Grego, “This year, HRTS Associates has elevated the conversation around inclusion and diversity with a series of virtual panels and has shown a passion for hosting programming that educates, challenges and supports. I’m so inspired by what they’ve done and look forward to supporting the efforts and vision of our new Associates leadership.”
The HRTS Associates (HRTSA) is the fastest-growing division of the industry’s leading networking organization, and its membership of rising executives and creative talent are at the forefront of the shift toward more diversity and inclusion across media content. HRTSA supports mid-career professionals with networking, mentorship, and educational opportunities.
This past year, HRTS Associates ramped up a number of virtual events on both coasts to engage members around important topics facing our society, impacting the industry and affecting individuals during COVID. Programming ranged from panels with Lena Waithe, and a discussion on Black Lives Matter, to hosting leading episodic directors, a deep dive into the evolving issues of TV Development, and surviving and managing money during COVID.
