The Junior Hollywood Radio and Television Society (JHRTS) is thrilled to present the 2023 Scholarship Program in conjunction with our 2023-2024 Script Competition.
JHRTS 2023 Scholarships are reserved for people from underrepresented backgrounds (including but not limited to people who identify as BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, and/or as a person with a disability) and people who were impacted by the 2023 WGA/SAG Strikes and/or lack the financial means to cover the script competition submission fee.
The scholarship offered includes an entry-fee waiver for our upcoming 2023-2024 Script Competition (a $25 or $35 value, depending on when submitted) and is designated for current members of JHRTS.
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 12, 2023 (11:59 pm PT).
Please note that a JHRTS membership is required for both script competition entry as well as this scholarship application. If you are not an existing JHRTS member, you may apply here: https://hrts.org/jhrts-membership.
Applications will be reviewed by the HRTS Staff as well as members of the JHRTS Board. Up to 30 script competition fee-waiver scholarships will be awarded.
