NEWLY ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS AND NEWLY APPOINTED ADVISORY COUNCIL COMPRISED OF LEADERS AND COMPANIES SHAPING THE INDUSTRY
New “HRTS Legacy Scholarship” Benefitting Members Impacted by Natural Disasters, Industry Layoffs, Underrepresentation & Financial Hardship Funded by Personal Donations of Organization’s Leadership
LOS ANGELES, CA, November 13, 2025 – The Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS) has announced its newly elected Board of Directors and Advisory Council members. The news was announced by President of the HRTS Board of Directors Tim McNeal, HRTS Chairperson David Madden and HRTS CEO and HRTS Foundation Chairperson Melissa Grego.
Additionally, the HRTS Foundation is launching “The HRTS Legacy Scholarship,” an annual scholarship to pay membership dues for mid- and early-career HRTS members, as well as students who have been affected by recent layoffs, natural disasters, are underrepresented or lack the financial means. The new scholarship, which is expected to support up to 300 members, is funded entirely by HRTS Board of Directors, HRTS Foundation and Advisory Council member’s own personal donations. HRTS leadership is comprised of creatives and professionals working at such leading industry companies as A+E Global Media, Amazon MGM Studios, BBC Studios, CAA, NBCUniversal, Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Starz, The Walt Disney Company, UTA, Warner Bros. Discovery, WME and many more.
New HRTS Directors beginning a three-year term that starts in November 2025 are JoAnn Alfano (Executive Vice President, Current Programming, Universal Television), Vivian Cannon (Executive Vice President, Drama Development, Universal Television) Cliff Decatrel (Producer/Founder/CEO, Deca Media), Christopher King (Senior Vice President, Drama Development, Sony Pictures Television), Linnea McArt, (VP and Managing Director, 1st Century Bank, HRTS Treasurer), Ryan O’Dowd (President of Unscripted, BBC Studios), Josh Hornstock, Partner, United Talent Agency, Rose Catherine Pinkney (Media Executive, Producer and Consultant), Bryan Seabury (Executive Vice President, Drama Development, CBS Studios), Amir Shahkhalili (Senior Partner and Head of Non-Scripted TV, WME), and Joshua Sussman (Head of Business Affairs, Disney Entertainment Television).
