The Junior Hollywood Radio and Television Society (JHRTS) is thrilled to present the 2022 Scholarship Program in conjunction with our 2022 Script Competition.
JHRTS 2022 Scholarships are reserved for people from underrepresented backgrounds (including but not limited to people who identify as BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, and/or as a person with a disability) or who may lack the financial means to cover the JHRTS membership fee or script competition submission fee.
One of the scholarships offered includes a 1-year membership to JHRTS (a $70 value) and is designated for non-members who would qualify for JHRTS membership.
The other scholarship offered includes an entry-fee waiver for our upcoming 2022 Script Competition (a $25 or $35 value, depending on when submitted) and is designated for current members of JHRTS.
This scholarship application can be submitted for either:
a) a one-year membership to JHRTS (current JHRTS members may not apply);
OR
b) a script competition entry fee-waiver (for current JHRTS members – membership not included)
Applications will be reviewed by the HRTS Staff as well as members of the JHRTS Board. Up to 25 JHRTS membership scholarships will be awarded, along with 15 script competition fee-waiver scholarships.
