Scott Hervey is a partner with Weintraub Tobin. Scott represents studios, production companies, producers, directors, and showrunners in a wide variety of transactions, including network negotiations, development deals, and all forms of rights acquisitions. He is the co-lead of the Weintraub Tobin’s Business & Legal Affairs group, which provides outsourced comprehensive business, legal, and production affairs to studios and production companies requiring either a full-service solution or an interim/project-based solution.

His practice also encompasses representing digital media in rights acquisitions, distribution, licensing, and other general business transactions. He is the co-chair of the HRTS Unscripted Content Group, and served previously as an entertainment law professor at UC Davis School of Law.
