DAMIR AND DARIO KONJICIJA

Sunnyside on NBC, Young Sheldon on CBS

Damir and Dario Konjicija are a brother television writing duo currently working on the upcoming series Sunnyside for NBC. Prior to that, they wrote on Young Sheldon and The Great Indoors. Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia, they fell in love with American sitcoms via poorly dubbed episodes of such classics like The Wonder Years, Mash and Seinfeld.


MIRY WHITEHILL

Miry started Miry’s List in July 2016 when a friend introduced her to a family of new arrival Syrian refugees resettling in Los Angeles with kids the same age as her own. Until then, she was a stay-at-home mom and community activist with 10 years experience in digital marketing. She speaks fluent Hebrew and is learning Arabic in the car on an app with her sons.

Recently awarded with an Innovation and Inclusion Award by the Digital Diversity Network, Mauricio Mota is the founder and co-president of Wise Entertainment. He served as executive producer of East Los High, an award-winning drama series that earned 6 Emmy nominations during its run on Hulu for its realistic portrayal of Latino high school students. The show is the streaming platform’s longest running original series.


MANDY SIMON

Interim Deputy Executive Director, Public Affairs
Amnesty International

Mandy Simon is the Interim Deputy Executive Director for Public Affairs at Amnesty International USA, overseeing the organization’s media relations, social media and multimedia production, events, web, and celebrity engagement work.
