JHRTS LA – Finding Mental Health Resilience & Sustainability

In Partnership w/ YEA!

*Open to All JHRTS & Academic Members*

Several themes are contributing to the detrimental effects of the entertainment industry grind on our mental health. During this panel, we will focus on one of those themes: the importance of having sustainability resources and protocols available in our workplaces. The reality is that a lack of sustainability efforts in production directly contributes to our burnout, eco-anxiety, climate injustice, and the instability of health and ecosystems within the communities we film.

As makers and problem solvers, we are capable of instilling changes and confidence in our workplaces and communities. Whether it’s ensuring trash bins are accessible or donating leftover food to a non-profit, there are a variety of ways we can create sustainability in our work and in our frame of mind.
