HRTS event tickets are non-refundable. HRTS membership purchases are non-refundable.
HRTS Privacy Policy
Since 1947, the Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS) has been recognized as our industry’s premiere information and networking forum. HRTS membership represents the “best and the brightest” of our industry, and includes top executives from broadcast and cable networks, studios, agencies, law firms, production companies, PR companies and many other related firms. Through its signature “Newsmaker Luncheon Series” and other events, the HRTS allows industry leaders to stay informed on the latest trends affecting the business of television, as well as stay connected to the key people who make our business happen.
HRTS policy is to use any and all information collected by any means, whether through the world wide web, email, our online database system and/or any interactive forms/surveys only for uses that are absolutely vital to our organization and our membership, with respect to professional standards required and expected from an organization of HRTS’ caliber.
HRTS is a 501 (c)(6) non-profit organization chartered in the State of California. HRTS, as a non-profit organization, understands the concerns with protecting the integrity of the HRTS member’s/purchaser’s information. HRTS fully understands the implications of members/purchasers submitting their private information, including credit card numbers, over the internet. Therefore, it is in HRTS’ interest to protect member/purchaser information in order to ensure privacy and the best service possible.
As an HRTS member/purchaser, you will have the ability to make purchases online through our website. When you use HRTS-enabled services to complete a transaction through the internet, you will be required to provide, the credit card billing information (name, billing address, card number and expiration date). All the information provided by the member/purchaser will be encrypted using industry standard secure technology (SSL). Encryption is a safety measure to prevent identity theft and/or the interception of such private information.
All encrypted information will be maintained on our secure servers for HRTS internal processes only. And completing online transactions with HRTS does not open your personal and private information out to the public for dissemination. HRTS will never disclose, sell, trade, rent, or reveal your personal information to third parties, which includes advertisers, and marketers. The information will only be strictly used to complete the transaction that was requested by the HRTS member/purchaser. HRTS does not retain, share, store, or use your personal information for a secondary purpose.
Though, HRTS makes every effort to protect and preserve member/purchaser information, we may need to disclose said information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that disclosing the information is necessary to comply with a legal process or court order served on HRTS.
If we decide to amend our privacy policy, HRTS reserves the right to do so. Such changes will be posted on our web-site, this privacy policy statement, and other places HRTS deems appropriate to post such changes. We will always be sure to let our membership know what information we gather, how we may use that information, and whether or not we will disclose said information.
